Model and model number

Which Xbox do you have?

Xbox Series X

The larger of the two current consoles, out since 2020. It reads discs. Only the later Digital Edition has no disc drive.

Xbox Series S

The compact Series S, also out since 2020, has no disc drive and only plays digital games.

Xbox One, One S and One X

The model number on the underside gives away the version. 1540 is the original Xbox One, 1681 the One S and 1787 the One X. In the form you then choose Original, One S or One X.

Xbox 360

In the form you choose every design as Xbox 360, from the original 360 to the 360 S and the 360 E.

The original Xbox

The big black Xbox from 2001 is simply called Xbox in the form.

Can't find the number?

Then you choose I don't know for the Xbox One, and the form bases the price on the cheapest version.

Your offer

What decides the price

Your price depends on what really counts on an Xbox. That is why we ask exactly about that.

  1. The model, and for the Xbox One the version, meaning Original, One S or One X.
  2. The condition of the casing, from flawless through everyday wear to damaged.
  3. Whether a controller is included.
  4. How it works. Our check shows whether the disc drive, the fan and the HDMI port all work properly.

What you end up with you see straight away in the configurator, as the maximum price for the condition you describe. The amount becomes binding after our check, and if something then differs from what you told us, you decide in your own time whether to accept.

That simple

Sold in three steps

  1. Describe

You describe your device in a few clicks, no photos and no account, and see your price straight away.

  2. Send it in or drop it off

If the offer suits you, you send your device with the free postage label from the Post. Or you drop it off in Holziken by appointment.

  3. Get paid

After the check we pay into your account within 48 hours. If something differs from what you told us when we check it, we come back to you and you decide in your own time.

If you don't agree, we send your device back free of charge.

Before you send it

Reset and sign out your Xbox

These five minutes matter more than the price. As long as your profile is on the console, it stays linked to your Microsoft account, and if it is your home Xbox, anyone who plays on it uses your purchases.

  1. Before the reset, leave the console online for a little while. The Xbox One and the Series X and S then store your saves in the cloud automatically.
  2. Take out discs, USB hard drives and any storage expansion card if you want to keep them.
  3. Reset the console under Settings, System, Console info, Reset console, and choose Reset and remove everything there.

That deletes all accounts, the saves on the console, the settings and its link as your home Xbox. If you can no longer get to the console, you remove it in your Microsoft account under Devices. On the Xbox 360 and the original Xbox you delete your profile. We reset every console again before we resell it anyway, but you should do the first wipe yourself.

Controllers and games

What belongs in the same request

The power supply and cables belong with the console. That way the price in the form applies. If a controller is included, it goes in the parcel too. On the original Xbox One and the Xbox 360 the power supply is a separate brick, so be sure to include it.

You sell extra controllers and games with a separate request each. For games you choose Games, Xbox and your console, then type in the titles, one per line.

Honest maths

Faulty Xbox, sell or repair

We also buy an Xbox with no picture, a loud fan or a disc drive that no longer reads discs. In the form, choose Faulty under Condition and write in one sentence what does not work. A repair is often the better choice, for example with a broken HDMI port. With an Xbox 360 or an original Xbox One, though, it can cost more than the console still fetches second-hand, and we tell you that honestly.

Common questions

How much is my Xbox still worth?

It depends on the model and, for the Xbox One, the version, as well as the condition, the controller and whether everything works. Describe your Xbox in a few clicks and you see a concrete maximum price straight away. The amount becomes binding after our check.

How do I reset my Xbox before selling it?

Under Settings, System, Console info, Reset console, then choose Reset and remove everything. Leave it online for a little while first, so your saves are in the cloud.

Do you also buy a faulty Xbox?

Yes, even with no picture, a loud fan or a faulty disc drive. Choose Faulty under Condition and briefly describe what does not work. If a repair makes more sense for you, we tell you so openly.

Do you also buy the Xbox 360 and the original Xbox?

Yes. You choose every Xbox 360 in the form as Xbox 360, and the original Xbox is simply called Xbox there. If a 360 shows three red lights, choose Faulty under Condition.

What happens to my digital games?

They stay in your Microsoft account, just like your Game Pass. On another Xbox you sign in and download them again.

How quickly do I get my money?

You see your price straight away, and the free postage label reaches you by e-mail right after. Once it arrives we check the console and transfer the money within 48 hours. From sending to being paid usually takes three to five working days, depending on the post.

What happens if I don't like the offer?

Then it costs you nothing. If our first offer does not suit you, you simply do not send us anything. If something differs from what you told us when we check it, you get a new offer that you can accept or decline. If you decline, we send your device back free of charge. You only sell what you have confirmed.
