From the Nintendo 64 to my own shop
My journey into the big world of gaming started with the Nintendo 64 and the classic Super Mario 64. I am Vincenzo, a passionate gamer and a CNC polymechanic by trade.
At Christmas in the year 2000 my sister got a grey Nintendo 64 console including Super Mario 64, while I got a Carrera track. The Carrera track mostly sat in its box down in the cellar, while the Nintendo 64 was as good as always taken by me. Luckily my sister almost never played on it. Shame :P
That game, and later The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask and Mario Kart 64, shaped my early experiences of gaming. Later came more consoles like the Game Boy Color, Advance and PS3. My games collection grew year after year.
From buying games and consoles all the time I noticed more and more how the old physical retro games are disappearing from the shops. These days they are sold almost only on online platforms. And that is how my idea of starting my own online shop came about.
I want to put my passion and my expertise to work so that trade in video games and consoles in Switzerland is fair.
