Which games we buy
PlayStation
Discs for PlayStation 1 to 5, plus UMDs for the PSP and game cards for the PS Vita. In the form you choose Games, PlayStation and then your console.
Nintendo
Cartridges and discs from the NES through the Nintendo 64 and the GameCube to the Switch 2, plus games for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, DS, 3DS, Wii and Wii U.
Xbox
Discs for the original Xbox, the Xbox 360, the Xbox One and the Series X.
Sega
Cartridges and discs for the Master System, Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast and Game Gear.
Other consoles
If your console is not in the list, you choose Other as the brand and briefly write which one it is.
What we do not take
We do not take clones or pirate copies, because we sell originals only. Games bought digitally are tied to your account and cannot be passed on.
What decides the price
Your price is built up title by title. Every game you type in is valued individually, and at the end you see the price for all of them straight away.
- The title. Sought after games fetch more than those that exist in their millions.
- The packaging, meaning complete in box with manual, boxed without manual, loose or mixed.
- The condition of discs, cartridges and cases, from flawless through everyday wear to damaged.
- How they work. Does everything run, are there minor issues, such as a cartridge that no longer saves, or is a game faulty?
You enter the packaging, condition and function once for all the games in the request.
What you end up with you see straight away in the configurator, as the maximum price for the condition you describe. The amount becomes binding after our check, and if something then differs from what you told us, you decide in your own time whether to accept.

Describe
You describe your device in a few clicks, no photos and no account, and see your price straight away.
Send it in or drop it off
If the offer suits you, you send your device with the free postage label from the Post. Or you drop it off in Holziken by appointment.
Get paid
After the check we pay into your account within 48 hours. If something differs from what you told us when we check it, we come back to you and you decide in your own time.
If you don't agree, we send your device back free of charge.
Getting your games to us safely
A few quick steps before you tape up the parcel.
- Put each disc in its own case. If a disc is missing or the wrong one is inside, we see it during the check and get back to you.
- Wrap loose cartridges individually, in a small bag or in paper, so the contacts do not get damaged.
- Think about your saves. On many cartridges, from the Game Boy to the 3DS, the save is stored in the cartridge and goes with the game. On the Switch it stays on your console.
- Pad out the box so nothing rattles.
A whole collection?
In each request you type in the games for one console, up to 30 games, one title per line. For games for another console, simply start a new request.
You also sell the console itself with a separate request. That way every device gets the questions that fit it and an offer of its own.
If you want to break up a whole collection, write to us at info@gamesandmore.ch with a short list, ideally pointing out the pieces that seem special to you. We value those individually, the rest as a lot, and make you one offer for everything.
Not every game is worth a lot
Yearly sports titles and the big sellers of the PS3 and PS4 era exist in their millions, which is why they only fetch a few francs today. We take them anyway, and then your shelf is empty in one go. For rare, complete and sought after pieces we pay considerably better than for common loose cartridges.
Common questions
How much do I get for my games?
It depends on each individual title, plus the packaging, the condition and whether they work. Type in the titles and you see a maximum price for all of them straight away. The amount becomes binding after our check.
Do you also buy single games?
Yes, even a single game. A sought after title is worth it on its own too. If a game only fetches a few francs, such as a yearly sports title, you are better off including it in a request with other games for the same console.
Do you also buy games without a case?
Yes, we take loose cartridges and discs just the same. For the packaging you choose Loose, and the price comes out lower than for a complete game.
What happens if a game does not work?
If you already know, choose Minor issues or Faulty in the form and write in one sentence which game is affected. This answer applies to all the games in the request, so you are better off sending a faulty game in a separate request. If we only notice during the check that a game does not work, we get back to you with a new offer, and you decide in your own time.
What if you do not recognise a title?
Then it appears separately in the offer, without an instant price. You can still send it along, and we look at it during the check. You only sell what you have confirmed.
How quickly do I get my money?
You see your price straight away, and the free shipping label reaches you by e-mail right after. Once they arrive we check the games and transfer the money within 48 hours. From sending to being paid usually takes three to five working days, depending on the post.
What happens if I don't like the offer?
Then it costs you nothing. If our first offer does not suit you, you simply do not send us anything. If something differs from what you told us when we check it, you get a new offer that you can accept or decline. If you decline, we send your device back free of charge. You only sell what you have confirmed.
