The condition of consoles and cameras
A game has a box, and the four levels above tell you exactly what is included. A console or a camera does not, so there the look is what counts. That is why the condition of devices is Like new, Very good or Good. It describes the look only. The function is fully tested at every condition, otherwise the device does not reach the shop at all.
No visible signs of use. From a normal distance you cannot tell it from a new device.
Light marks that you only see close up and in direct light. From the front nothing stands out.
Visible signs of use, for example scratches on the casing or worn edges. Nothing broken, nothing missing.
For games the condition level says everything about what is included, for devices everything about the look. Visible signs of use on a game we describe directly in the item. If a device is sold as Refurbished, original parts and a battery at 95 per cent or better also apply. If a device does not manage that, we sell it as used and we say that it is used. If you want to sell a console yourself, after testing we tell you which level it falls into.

With retro hardware every detail counts. We check the function, clean the contacts and name missing parts openly.
Cameras
On cameras we check the sensor, the shutter and the lens. We give the shutter count when it is relevant.
